So much has been going on!
Dear Friends!
The last few months have been very busy! In December, my new book Transfiguration: Notes toward a Radical Catholic Reimagination of Everything came out. In addition to that, I finally worked through the lecture videos for The Metaphysical Poets course. That was fun. I told my wife all she needs to do is give me two cups of coffee and ask me about John Donne. And then hit "play" (the video included here was made for the course).
I'm currently thinking through the courses on Biodynamic Farming and Gardening as Christian Path and Poets and Mystics. Stay in touch for more as they become available.
I've also added a number of blog posts, including a few excerpts from my book Literature and the Encounter with God in Post-Reformation England. I hope you find something useful in them.
As you can imagine, spring is a pretty busy time at Stella Matutina Farm (where I live). Two baby goats were born last week and we expect more very soon. The bees are waking from their slumber--I'm so happy they made it through this incredibly harsh winter! And soon I'll begin preparing the garden beds for the new season of growth. So. Much. Life.
Warmest regards,
Michael Martin
