RRR's June Newsletter

Exciting things are on the horizon...

Hello my bookish friends!

First of all, I'm sorry June's newsletter is a little late. I have been on vacation the past few days, and if you know me at all, you know I don't really plan ahead, but I'm working on it!

Again, I don't have a ton to report for June. I've been doing a lot of editing/writing, but check out June's newsletter so you can catch up on everything you might have missed from RRR...

What's the catch (you may ask)?

RRR hopes to have Books 3 and 4 ready for betas by mid-August.

Description

Jenny's day started with expectations for a perfect beach picnic on a warm summer day, with her five-year-old son and her husband. But when hours pass, and she can't remember where they went, Jenny embarks on a terrifying quest to not only find out what happened to her son and husband but also why she's covered in blood and can't remember an entire day. What else are we up to?

My Two Cents...

In 2023 RRR's Blog "My Two Cents" has become popular. So popular, in fact, we have some award-winning authors and professional editors who agreed to join our ranks as guest bloggers throughout the year! Our goal is to have at least one guest per month and we're off to a great start!

June's Post was from the award-winning author, of What's Not Said, What's Not True, and What's Not Lost, Valerie Taylor. Read her informative piece Valerie’s Two Cents on Moving from Hybrid to Self Publishing for tips on how to choose the right publishing model for you (and how it's okay to make a switch, even after you've published).

We will also see a piece from her later in the year so stay tuned for that!

Coming up on Sunday, July 9th, we have author Rosy Gee. Her collection of poetry is available on Amazon! And her short story On the Edge-Rosy’s Two Cents on Menopause explores "the unseen struggles a middle-aged woman has with menopause and the dramatic effect it [can have] on her mental health"

If you haven't already, don't forget to check out February, March, April, and May's guest bloggers as well:

February: Author/Editor Lisa Fellinger-Finding the Courage to Share Your Writing

March: Actor/Writer Zolund (Zee)-Lee My Last Day, With You

April: Author Lashun Williams Thirst For Self: A Writer's Journey to Self-Discovery

May: Editor Heather Hudec Heather's Two Cents on How to Keep Your Editor Happy

We have some other great writers lined up to post in 2023, so stay tuned for a great year!

If you're interested in writing a review, short story, or anything reading, writing, editing, or publishing-related reach out! We have one or two more slots to fill late in the year. Click below to check out our submission guidelines which contain a link to submit. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
