Hello, Art Friends!I'd love to share a glimpse into my world of art, design, and flavor. My contribution to our community shines through artful expression, meaningful brand designs, and unforgettable flavors. I hope these influences will inspire an appreciation for beauty in a chaotic world and never-ending acts of kindness in the Four Corners and beyond. With each monthly newsletter, I aim to inspire others to pursue beauty, initiate a passion, or just take a moment to reflect upon what makes you feel grateful. I'm grateful for you. |

Paddleboard Afternoon The scenes I capture in my art carry you beyond the landscape toward a stylistic embrace of nature and the emotion of an outing. This piece was inspired by a perfect day on the Animas River, paddling with friends and watching the clouds billow and float across the sky. The blue-green color of the Animas' waters is my favorite color, and the quest to capture its essence drives me to paint even more river scenes. Southwest Trauma Training Brand I was recently granted the opportunity to redesign the brand, logo, website, and printed material for Ruby Jo Walker, LCSW, of Southwest Trauma Training. Her therapy work incorporates cutting-edge principles of polyvagal theory, neurobiology, attachment-based perspective, and resilience. These concepts are proven to better assist clients and patients as they develop resiliency and profound transformation in all areas of life. Ruby Jo wished to have a beautiful, professional business identity that reflected both peace and confidence. She's making such a positive impact on this world. Zhoug! What’s better than connecting with others over a shared meal? If you’re like me, you’ll agree that food is love, and food is life. In 2011, I started a food blog to record our best-loved meals and flavors. I thought I'd share my favorites with you! This sauce is addictive! Zhoug is a Middle Eastern spicy cilantro sauce I discovered while researching sauces to serve with lamb shawarma. Similar to a spicy chimichurri, this secret culinary weapon will make your meats, veggies, and breakfast eggs sing! | | |
