Hello Mat Fans,
The month of May has arrived and, along with it, the latest Tinywargames newsletter. I hope that those of you in the UK had an enjoyable bank holiday weekend involving plenty of hobby and some gaming if you were lucky.
I took the opportunity to get down to the coast for a few hours and get a bit of fresh air. I recently decided to dig out my trusty metal detector from the garage and have so far managed to unearth some shotgun shells, a couple of .22 bullets, some dog tags and plenty of money. Yesterday I found £9.50! I'll soon be rich beyond my wildest dreams!
As ever, thank you if you purchased a battlemat from us in April. If you 'detect' any issues at all with your order then feel free to drop us a line, but I'm pretty certain you won't.
Congratulations to our April giveaway winners and keep an eye on our Twitter this month for more competitions.
I'm looking forward to returning to some sort of normality very soon, as I'm sure you are. As far as my own hobby progress, I've been painting my beloved Bolt Action and have developed a bit of a costly addiction to Sisters of Battle... Don't tell the wife...
Do remember to visit tinywargames.co.uk if you want to see our full range of mats, materials and designs and email us with any pricing queries, custom mat requests or any other questions about what we do.
Lastly, if you're interested in military history and uncovering the past like I am (all while making a few quid in the process), then we now have available a limited number of affordable 'TinyTector' metal detectors available in our online store! Never let it be said that I do things by halves...
Until next time - keep it Tiny!
All the best,
Richard
