We've been planning and working over our closure and have some wonderful activities for our students! The activities are the same as in the Fall, for the most part. The main differences are in the participants (who can join) and the scheduling (when things happen). All grades can now join Coding and Robotics. There will be one Coding and Robotics class for up to 15 students in grades 3-12. Our Singing and World Languages and Culture With Cooking classes are also open to all grades. Minecraft:AI is restricted to up to 20 students in grades 3-8. Call (323) 756-7203 to sign up before they fill up and close! Schedule Changes In schedule changes, we moved our Family Meeting and our college and career workshops to Fridays at 6pm so more parents can attend with their students. Per your request! The Family Meeting where we plan and discuss our activities will be held monthly instead of weekly (we understand you have a lot happening online!). Family is what we do so we are excited about our new Family Fun Night coming in April, and our Spring Showcase and Graduation Party in May! Click here for our program and tutor schedules. New Tutors Also new...volunteer tutors! Welcome Megan, Rebeka, Paul, Fabiolan, Pauneez, and Janis! A big thank you to everyone joining us this semester from schools including USC, UC Berkeley, Pepperdine, Loyola, and St. John's, and from companies including Merrill Lynch and PineBridge Investments -- 20 volunteer tutors total plus our three Wooten lead teachers ready to go! We cannot say enough about the dedication and care our staff and volunteers have in their commitments to helping our kids excel! Thank you everyone!
