What has MPA been up to?

Want to be more involved?

  • Submit an article for our blog! We invite students to write about topics and issues important to you. They can range from specific clinical issues, social justice issues, graduate school advice, internship experiences, and more! You can also reach out to us at studentdivisionmpa@gmail.com if you need to brainstorm a topic with us!
  • Active participation for legislative actions! The MPA legislative committee works hard at advocating and protecting our psychology profession & practice. They frequently send out emails for us to reach out to our representatives/senators to highlight certain issues regarding our profession and client care. As students, this impacts our future profession and scope of practice. We can play a role in our future by advocating and being vocal about practice/client issues to our state representatives. Your voice counts!
  • Are you a social media enthusiast? We are looking for folks to assist in social media related tasks for the student division! Email studentdivisionmpa@gmail.com if you are interested!
  • Curious about our governing council meetings? You can attend our meeting on Jan 23, 2021, 9:00 - 11:00 am. An invitation will be sent to all MPA members soon.

All the best to doctoral students who are interviewing for internship!!!
