The first month of 2023 is in the books! It sure has been a busy one, and God continues to show His faithfulness & provision. The year kicked off with a strategic planning meeting with our board of directors to solidify our vision and set some goals for this year. I am so thankful for the godly leadership of our board members, and their willingness to go "all in" to see the clear Gospel advanced locally, nationally, and globally!
January 19 - We had our ministry's first ever Africa senior pastor Zoom training meeting. We gathered with 6 leaders form 5 countries for prayer, training, and Kingdom collaboration. These pastors are learning the 7 key values to create a culture that advances the Gospel in and through their churches. This will be a quarterly Zoom meeting to help accelerate the movement throughout Africa and beyond!
January 22-25 - I had the opportunity to partner with Dare 2 Share Ministries at the Arkansas Baptist Evangelism Conference in Little Rock. Greg Stier spoke on the mainstage and led some trainings for leaders. It was great to work with Greg and Dare 2 Share to connect with area youth leaders, senior pastors, and denomination leaders. Please pray for the many connections that were made, as several senior pastors and associational missionaries are interested in the coaching, training, and speaking ministries that we offer through Dare 2 Share and Jon Burdette Ministries.
A few months ago, I preached a revival/evangelism training conference at Dry Ridge Baptist Church in Dry Ridge, KY. You may remember how God moved, particularly through the obedience of one high school student, Gracie Blake. Since then, God has done even more through her! March 14-15 - Kentucky Baptist REACH Evangelism Conference
