October has been a very busy month with many awareness days and lots going on behind the scenes. We celebrated a momentous achievement as a charity this month, with our Chair & Founder; Jane Green being officially invested at Windsor Castle by HRH The Prince of Wales ⭐
Jane Green - MBE 🏅
We kick off the month by sharing the incredibly special and momentous occasion as our Chair & Founder, Jane Green had her investiture at Windsor Castle by HRH The Prince of Wales.
Jane had the most amazing, memorable day with her children and perfect weather.
We are delighted to see this occasion being shared and published in many local newspapers and via other charities.
This is an incredibly important occasion, not just for Jane, but for those with symptomatic hypermobility including Ehlers-Danlos syndromes and the neurodivergent community as we are now being seen, heard and recognised.

ARFID or MALS - It's not 'all in your head'
"If you’re told enough times by doctors that “there is nothing physically wrong with you", where do you draw the line between believing what your doctors tell you, or trusting your own “gut instinct” to find out the real cause of your pain?
Open Forum Events is pleased to announce a new Supporting People with a Learning Disability and Autistic People conference, which will take place in London on November 9th 2023.
This biannual meeting, now in its 9th year, will continue the dialogue to improve the lives of those living with or affected by a learning disability and/or autism.
Attendees will hear from a line-up of expert speakers - including our Chair & Founder Jane Green, who will discuss challenging topics, debate contentious issues and analyse the way forward. Interactive question and answer sessions will consolidate knowledge sharing, whilst casual networking will create connections.
Places are extremely limited so be sure to reserve your place as soon as possible.
