The fall Provincial Leader Appreciation event was held on November 20th. We had a fantastic day at Clinton Hills Weddings and Events for Leader Appreciation!! Some crafting thanks to Dana Davis Designs, games, prizes, an educational presentation from PEERS Alliance regarding creating brave spaces for the 2SLGBTQ+ community and delicious food to top it off! Thanks to all who made today possible and to all who attended.

Deadline to register with 4-H PEI - January 7th, 2022

About this event

Leadership Summit is an exciting opportunity for 4-H volunteer leaders and professionals to showcase the communities they are building, share innovative program ideas, and hear from experts on emerging topics. It includes a mix of workshops, an expert keynote, knowledge sharing, networking, and fun!

We’re heading to Halifax, Nova Scotia in April 2022, where Leadership Summit will be co-hosted by 4-H Nova Scotia, as part of 4-H Nova Scotia’s 100th-anniversary celebrations!

How to attend

Leadership Summit is open to 4-H volunteer leaders from across Canada. Registration is managed through your provincial 4-H office.

Registration for Leadership Summit is $700/person. Some provinces subsidize the registration feed for their leaders. Please check with your provincial 4-H office for more information.

If you are interested in attending as one of 4-H PEI's delegates please email Rayanne before January 7th. Spaces are limited.

The issue of emails from Provincial Staff not being delivered to recipients seems to still be an ongoing issue. Please ensure that you check your junk mail folder regularly, especially if you are waiting on something from a staff member. If you do find an email in the junk folder, mark the email address as "safe." Unfortunately, this is something we have no control over. Similarly, if you have sent an email to a staff and days have passed with no response, please give us a call to ensure your message was received!

For the upcoming 4-H year we are strongly encouraging our leaders and members to stay up to date with news and events by checking out the monthly newsletter and visiting the *newly updated* website regularly. This is in an effort to streamline information and ensure that information is easy to find for everyone. The website should be your first stop for info! That being said - there are things that we occasionally post to our Provincial Facebook page that may not be duplicated on the website, such as Club Reports. Leaders and Members will still be able to see these posts, regardless of if they have a Facebook account, by clicking the link that we provide in this newsletter. So please do not disregard future information that is connected to Facebook - you can still access it if you please!

The PEI 4-H Board of Directors and 4-H Staff would like to wish you and yours a wonderful Christmas holiday and all the best in 2022.

Stay safe. Be kind.
