September Newsletter

BECOME A CHARACTER IN MY NEXT BOOK!

We've grown up together, known each other since we were toddlers and now me and my lifelong friend Lynn, pictured above, are working together to raise funds for Assistance Dog charity Dog A.I.D. (Assistance In Disability)

Read all about it and discover how YOU can star in my next cosy crime novel at https://t.co/vjISX97Khx

I am giving one lucky fan the chance to be in the book and have a character named after them.

Enter here. Competition closes on September 30 so don't miss out!

My debut TV appearance on BBC Look North where I'd been invited to judge the monthly weather competition and chat about my books set in Ryhope. We filmed in Ryhope Community Centre in front of the miners' banner. What an honour!

You can watch me on the BBC iPlayer around 20mins, 40secs on this link

It's getting exciting! The Miner's Lass is out in paperback on October 28th!

You can pre-order now.

Join me on an online walk around the village of old Ryhope in 1919, which is where my novels are set. The online talk is part of Heritage Open Days which runs from September 10 - 13, 2021.

It's free and you can join up here.

I'm giving a lot of author talks this autumn and they're all FREE!  If you'd like to come along and join in any of them, please do, it'd be great to see friendly faces.

All of all my upcoming talks are here.

Did you know that I also write a weekly soap opera?

It's called Riverside and is published in The People's Friend magazine each week. Riverside is funny and frothy and I hope you might enjoy it. The magazine goes on sale each Wednesday in all shops and supermarkets and you can subscribe to the magazine here.

Well, that's all from me for this time, thank you for joining me.
