Mitch the Man

I hope you are enjoying these stories about Mitch.  I found the first year after his passing, I spent most of my time fulfilling the shows he had signed up for and others that came along that year.  In many ways, I was grieving for both Mitch the Man and Mitch the Artist.  Even as I did my own personal grieving, my focus was pretty much about Mitch the Artist.

Last year, my grieving totally shifted to Mitch the Man.  Hence, the types of newsletters I am sending out now are all focused on sharing stories with you about him. These remembrances bring me so much happiness.

Today, I am remembering My Funny Valentine in pictures.

Not to be outdone by anyone on Valentine's Day, Mitch gathered these dried flowers from the attic to present to me.  Look at that self-satisfied smile on his face!  LOL

Every day was a crazy hair day for Mitch. How he looked in the mirror in the morning and didn't notice what it looked like, always cracked me up!

Ah yes, the spectacles I put in Mitch's stocking one year were a big hit with him.  We even used this picture to tell friends that Mitch was feeling better after having been sick.  No one even mentioned them!  Did they think these were his actual glasses?!! And what about that hair?

My absolute favorite!  On our wedding day, when Mitch was supposed to give me a piece of cake, he ate it himself! I told you he had a sweet tooth. I nearly died laughing.

EXCITING NEWS:  Mitch's clayprinting and handbuilding DVDs are now available in digital format.  This will help those overseas customers as well as those of you who no longer have DVD players. Unfortunately, the book has not yet been developed as an e-book due to the cost.  I'm still working on it though.

As you know, keeping Mitch's legacy alive is most important to me.  Please recommend his work to others you know who are interested in original artwork.
