On September 6, 2024, the PTCAO, in partnership with DOT4A, conducted a highly productive Filipino Brand of Service Excellence Seminar. This event brought together 35 dedicated front-line government employees committed to enhancing their service delivery skills. |

The seminar provided comprehensive training on delivering exceptional customer service, developing effective communication strategies, and strengthening interpersonal skills. Participants gained valuable competencies to improve their interactions with the public and uphold the highest standards of service excellence. |

The PTCAO attended the Basic Tourism Statistics Training conducted by the DOT IV-A held on July 18-19, 2024 at Amalfi 718 Hotel, Lipa City, Batangas. |

This training provides Tourism Officers and staff with the necessary knowledge and skills on how to effectively gather, record, and report tourism data. This information is essential in understanding the trends of tourism within the province and coming up with effective plans for tourism development. |

Through this training, PTCAO exhibits its commitment to promoting sustainable and responsible tourism practices in the province. |

ECOVip Boot Camp PTCAO was delighted with the success of the ECOViP Boot Camp in Batangas. On July 26, 2024, six student teams from Vietnam and the Philippines showcased their innovative ecotourism business proposals at the Final Pitching held at Lyceum of the Philippines University - Batangas, the host university for the said project. |

The two-day seminar on the fundamental concepts of disaster risk reduction and management and first-aid, held in the Municipality of San Juan on August 13 and 14, 2024, was a success. 33 participants from PTCAO-registered establishments in the Municipality of San Juan participated the event. |

This seminar aimed to equip participants with the necessary skills to understand and implement disaster risk reduction and management concepts, respond effectively to emergencies using first-aid skills, and enhance the community's resilience and safety. |

Inauguration of Tourist Information Center in Calatagan A newly constructed Tourist Information Center of Calatagan was inaugurated on September 27, 2024. The new Tourist Information Center houses the tourism office and a Pasalubong Center featuring proudly Calatagan's local products and delicacies. |

Pintor Kulapol, founded in 1994, is a non-stock & non-profit organization who has been one of the constant visual art groups in Batangas, focusing not only to showcase their classic obras but also their vision to promote and shared their skills through conduct of arts classes and on-the-spot painting contests as part of their advocacy in and outside their municipality. |

The “3D-Tatlong Dekada” Painting Exhibition features the art pieces of the following artists from the first district: Emmanuel Afable, Ana Marie Afable, Nante Carandang, Fernando Apable, Randy Macalindong, Antonio Afable Jr., Tonette Andino, Felisa Carandang, Aron Carandang, Ana Belle Afable, Coring Afable, Pilar Adrias, Emmanuel Mendoza, Jowilson Panganiban, ML Arandia, Adriel dela Vega, Dawson and Vic Almanzor. The Provincial Government of Batangas and Batangas State University - the National Engineering University, signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to cooperate in designating "The Historic Towns and Landscape of Taal Volcano and its Caldera Lake" as a United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Heritage Site. Mr. Gabriel Caballero, Consultant for UNACOM for World Heritage, once again served as the keynote speaker. He shared his knowledge and expertise in the field of becoming a UNESCO World Heritage Site. |

3rd Quarter Tourist Arrivals Batangas Province remained to be a haven for relaxation and exploration in the 3rd Quarter of 2024, welcoming a total of 3,169,675 tourists. Overnight stays and same-day visits flocked to the province, with a strong domestic tourist presence. With a breakdown of 400,270 overnight stays and 2,769,405 same-day visits, contributed to the vibrant tourism of the province. These figures are currently partial and unofficial as of October 15, 2024. |
