Our 1st Annual ALIVE Winter Bash was a huge success!

On December 17th, we were able to be a blessing to almost 380 people!! This included the neighborhood of Aqueduct and residents of Hampton Roads who contacted us in need as far as Virginia Beach.
We were able to distribute and raffle off toys, bikes, household items, and coats. We even raffled off 25 $100 shopping sprees for teens! Our grand prize winner, EJ, is excited to go with his family on a Great Wolf Lodge vacation! Attendees were able to enjoy games, food, and treats together and experience an abundance of love this holiday season. At the same time, the PACCT Initiative with Newport News Police Department distributed an abundance of groceries to families as well! We want to thank Hampton Roads Toys for Tots, City of Newport News, VA - Government, Lighthouse Church, and Community Knights, Inc. for giving us the funds and resources to make this event possible. Also, a big shoutout to all of our volunteers for their time, hard work, and dedication!

WINTER BASH RECAP

ALIVE Teen Shopping Sprees

Thanks to Lighthouse Church, we were able to bless 25 teens with $100 shopping sprees this Christmas!
They were able to purchase a variety of items from self-care products, clothes, food, and even cameras. They thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to budget, prioritize, and shop for themselves! We had a great time together, spreading an abundance of love this Christmas.

What’s new for 2023?!

This year, we plan on expanding our reach and going into the Juvenile Detention Center to minister to the youth there. Our goal is to continue spreading hope and love to young men and their communities to keep them ALIVE (Abundantly Loved to Impede Upon Violent Engagements).
We will also continue our monthly ALIVE Community Days in Aqueduct as well as yearly events to include our Back to School Bash, Winter Coat Distribution, and Winter Bash. We also have hopes of being able to add on a diaper distribution via partnership with the Hampton Roads Diaper Bank. We are praying God will send us an abundance of support this year both financially and hands on to continue supporting the community and young men in our Trading a Wild Life for Wildlife mentoring program. We thank you for helping us make a difference and keeping the community and our young men ALIVE!
