Stay Spooky TAA Family

October is here, and we are thrilled! Our 3rd Annual Trunk-or-Treat is right around the corner. Join us for our favorite event of the year!

Saturday, October 29th 2:00-6:00pm

 

This year's Trunk-or-Treat is going to be a blast! We have so many fun things planned. The Trunk-or-Treat is a free event to attend, and is open to the public. Members and non-members of all ages are all welcomed! This is also a great, sensory-friendly event for our adaptive community.

 

Food, drinks, Bingo, some games and activities, and raffle entries will require tickets. Tickets will be sold in-studio Monday, October 17th through Saturday, October 29th, and throughout the entirety of the event. Ticket purchases can be made with cash or card.

IMPORTANT NEWS

 

Missed Sessions and Makeups

  • Missed sessions MUST be reported in advance in order to receive a makeup token

  • No call/no shows will NOT receive a makeup token

  • Please only report absences through your client portal and by emailing the front desk; with managers rotating schedules, we can ensure the manager on shift receives the message by contacting the front desk email - adaptiveathlete@icloud.com

  • Makeup tokens must be redeemed within 30 days of the date of the absence

  • Expired makeup tokens are not available for use

  • Makeup tokens expire upon cancellation of recurring enrollments, even if they have not expired yet

  • IMPORTANT - Private sessions are ONLY eligible for a makeup if the session is cancelled due to facility closure or cancellation; will our schedule filling up, it is very challenging to schedule and reschedule privates

Pre-K Camp

Pre-K Camps are offered Mondays and Tuesdays 9am-12pm for toddlers ages 18 months to 4 years.

Campers will rotate through active-learning stations in gymnastics, calendar group, learning centers, arts & crafts, sensory, yoga, dance, imaginative play, and MORE!

Upcoming Holidays

 

Thanksgiving

We will be closed Thursday, November 24 - Sunday, November 27

Makeup tokens will be issued November 1st and will be valid through December, for all enrollments affected by the holiday closure.

Makeups can be scheduled prior to the date(s) of the holiday closures.

 

Christmas

We will be closed Saturday, December 24 - Monday, December 26

Makeup tokens will be issued December 1st and will be valid through the end January, for all enrollments affected by the holiday closure.

Private sessions on Monday, December 26th will receive a makeup token.

Makeups can be scheduled prior to the date(s) of the holiday closures.

 

New Year

We will be closed Saturday, December 31 - Monday, January 2

We're Hiring!

The Adaptive Athlete is looking for enthusiastic, energetic staff to teach any of the following:

Independent Living Skills

Pre-K Camp

Sweet Peas Gymnastics

Recreational Gymnastics

Kids Ninja

Adaptive Group Fitness

Pre-Teens Fitness

Adaptive Basketball

 

Ideal candidates have any of the following qualifications:

Child Development or Child and Adolescent Development Studies Units

Experience working with individuals with developmental disorders

Teaching or coaching experience

Experience taking empirical data

 

Part-time hours may vary:

Monday-Thursday 8:30am-6:30pm, mornings and afternoons

Saturdays 8:00am-12:30pm, occasional afternoons (1:00-4:30pm) and evenings (3:45-8:15pm)
