Join us in Welcoming Sedrick Robinson! The Blackhawk Area Council Key-3 shared the exciting announcement last week that Sedrick Robinson will be the next Scout Executive for Canyon Camp's council. We are thrilled to have Sedrick on-board and look forward to introducing him to the Spirit of Canyon Camp.

|   | Stewards of Canyon Camp Initiative Launched Last month, sixteen program directors spanning more than five decades shared this letter to alumni and friends of Canyon Camp. The response has been tremendous. Dozens of friends of Canyon Camp have stepped forward to help with direct program and facility related projects. What's really neat about this initiative is that these funds will be used each year at the guidance of the volunteers giving at the highest level to the needs identified by our camp directors, properties committee, and council professionals.
In this first ever initiative of its kind, we have aleady raisded thousands of dollars to be used for the 2021 season. Read the letter above and learn more about the difference you can make directly for the Scouts who attend Canyon Camp. |   | |

|   | ScouTober: October Adventures at Canyon Camp The month of October saw dozens of Scouts and their families visiting Canyon Camp. We were excited to not only offer our fun hiking and family camp opportunities, but also add new adventures to our fall programming. Scouts from multiple units joined us for our first ever fall climbing day. A fun day was had by all! We look forward to bringing more Scouts to camp as we are able to do so safely in the coming months. |   | |

|   | 2021 Plans are Underway! As Scouts we must always "Be Prepared!" Fortunately, our camp staff is consistently one of the most experienced in the entire country with co-camp directors having more than eighty years of combined service. We're ready for anything!

|   | Alumni Corner: 2021 Reunion Have you saved the date for the 2021 Canyon Camp alumni and friend reunion? Join us July 24-25, 2021!
Every five years Canyon Camp celebrates with an alumni and friends reunion. Additional information is forthcoming for the 2021 reunion. Save the date and keep an eye our for updates in spring of 2021. This is an opportunity to reconnect with old friends, learn about camp history, and come back to camp to enjoy the memories that flood back.
