Summer Abundance

In August most of us take some time out to reconnect with ourselves, this year maintaining our well-being has become a priority. As we are emerging from the lockdown we need to continue some of self-care routine we started during this period.

This month I will be looking at  two of my favourite well-being tools;

food and meditation.

Summer is the perfect time to eat more fruits and vegs to support our body and try a variety of fruits & vegetables of different colours.

During these longer days we can find some time to meditate in the early morning or late evening.

Focus on the NOW

A regular meditation practice. Even 10 minutes a day have a positive effect on your body, mind and spirit. Meditation has many physical benefits ranging from better sleep, to lower blood pressure and the drop in cortisol (the hormone released in response to stress). Meditation also helps reduce anxiety and depression Why not try one of the many 10 to 21 Days Meditation Experience available for  FREE  on-line. I recommend the current 21 Days Meditation Experience with Deepak Chopra – Renew Yourself: Body, Mind & Spirit; or one of the programmes available on Commune.
