What's News Worthy?

I moved! Los Angeles here I am!

I was able to find a great place, even though it's temporary (lease is up in September).

I've lived in LA for a week now, and it has mostly rained so far. BUT there a couple sunny days.

My brother and parents came out to help me move, so on one of the sunny days, we went to Santa Monica Pier.

The place I'm currently living has a lemon tree! (see pic below)

I am still getting settled within the house...unpacking is slow going. Especially since the place is furnished, so it's a lot of seeing what's in the boxes and double checking to see if it's already provided in the house.

The job hunt is still going, and hopefully now that I'm in the city and state, I will be able to get something rather quickly.

My landlady did talk to a couple of her neighbors and some of them offered a couple part-time jobs and side gigs (i.e. babysitting; some administrative work, etc.), so I plan on reaching out later this week to see what all that implies. If it works out, then it's something to help supplement the income as I continue to find something more full time.

The weather was nice and even got a little sun. Even had some fresh seafood, which it's been a very long time since that has happened.
