Welcome to my mostly sporadic, somewhat informative newsletter ;) |

Holy crap it's July. :o
And I didn't send a newsletter for two months! I know, I'm sorry. I really haven't had anything too thrilling to share with you until now, I've been buried in my edit/revision hole! (And even then if you follow my Instagram you might have already seen. ;) ) Plus, it's in the header. I'm not good at newsletters. ;) |

This might be a little long-winded. Let's do the info stuff first.
Tellus is currently with my editor. Over the next month we'll first do a round of developmental edits and line edits, then after I make the necessary changes, she'll dive into copy edits. Exciting, right?! I'm sure a lot of you are wondering, well, at this late stage . . . where the heck is the cover?!
Storytime. When I approached DDD way back in forever ago, I said I needed a spot in late July or in August . . . and the only time they had free, with the artist I use (DDD employs a few) was late August. Which means August 23rd I'll get my first peek at Tellus' cover, and within a week or so after that you guys will be able to see it, too. But that's REALLY late considering I'm setting Tellus' tentative release date to October 12th. (Surprise! Maybe. ;) ) Three more things: • eARCs for Tellus will go out the same day as the cover reveal, so early September. (If you're interested in reading and reviewing Tellus this way, get in touch! I'm making a list, and those who review promptly will be moved to eARC priority in the future.) • If you're interested in helping with the cover reveal, please let me know! I'm making a list for that as well, but no worries, I'll remind everyone on Instagram and Facebook before the day comes! :D If you're not sure what that means, it's this: I'll send you an HD file of the cover as soon as I can, you share it across social media on cover reveal day. (with the synopsis and whatnot xD ) You can photoshop it in, put it on your eReader, print it out, whatever works for you. <3 All I need is your name and email! Big bonus: You'll be the first to see it ;)
• Imber's eBook will be on sale at the beginning of August, and then again at the beginning of September! If you don't have it, that might be a good chance to grab her. :D
Onward! |

Pre-orders! Since the cover for Tellus won't be done until late August, it definitely created some stress when it came to pre-orders; I like to be more organized, especially with signed copies, but I think I managed to find a way around it!
So what I'm going to do is open signed paperback pre-orders in early August. Everyone who pays for their copy (this means the invoice is approved and payment finalized) by September 1st will be in the first order, which will be placed immediately after I approve the proof—meaning you'll likely get your copy before release, which is honestly my favorite signed-book perk to offer :D I'll have the form up on my website, likely August 1st, and will share the link around social media. Pricing: • $20 (includes media mail shipping) • $26 (includes priority shipping) • $30 (includes international standard shipping)
((If you have trouble with PayPal please email me at archangelpublishing@yahoo.com I'd be glad to see what I can do to help!)) Imber AND Tellus Signed: Since I don't currently know the exact print cost of Tellus, I can't say what it's going to be to ship both paperbacks at once. BUT, I'm absolutely sure it'll be a steep discount versus buying them individually, since I'll only have to charge shipping/handling once. :3 In either case, there will be a two-book discount and I will be announcing that as soon as I possibly can. :D Signed Copy Perks: I love swag. I love coming up with ideas for swag, designing it, packaging it up . . . I love making swag for you guys!!! :D (It might be my favorite part of the release prep tbh) SO. Signed copies of Imber will still come with their original swag: |

So that's exciting yes? And maybe makes some of the wait worth it? :D Tellus is releasing just over a year after Imber and I'm going to do everything I can to reduce that time even further for Ventus . . . because the ending . . . Four months in advance I'm apologizing for the end of Tellus. I'M SORRY. And I'm already hard at work on Ventus, and there will be surprises to bridge the gap. I won't just leave you dangling! D: |

My reading has picked up again lately! Not significantly, but a little bit! Here's a couple must reads! :3 |

All Isobel wants is a quiet place to read, but apparently that's too much to ask. She only needs to make it through one last summer with her broken family before she can leave for university and get on with her life. At least she has her books and the solitude of the woods.
But there are wolves in these woods.
Caught out in the forest after dark, Isobel is pursued by a disturbingly intelligent pack of wolves. When the grizzly bear who rescues her turns out to be a cursed fae prince, she realizes her life isn’t the only thing in danger. She could lose her heart.
Trapped by the wolves at the prince’s home in Faerie, Isobel tries to unravel the mystery behind the surly prince’s scars. Because time is running out for the castle’s inhabitants, and if Isobel can’t find a way to break the spell and save the prince from the Unseelie Queen, she may lose everything she’s come to love. ____________________ 4.5/5* - Hanna's light, sweet take on the familiar classic will leave Beauty and the Beast fans absolutely satisfied. I look forward to more from this talented debut author! <3

Enter a world of gargoyle protectors, rising demons and one girl with an explosive secret.
Eighteen-year-old Trinity Marrow may be going blind, but she can see and communicate with ghosts and spirits. Her unique gift is part of a secret so dangerous that she’s been in hiding for years in an isolated compound fiercely guarded by Wardens—gargoyle shape-shifters who protect humankind from demons. If the demons discover the truth about Trinity, they’ll devour her, flesh and bone, to enhance their own powers.
When Wardens from another clan arrive with disturbing reports that something out there is killing both demons and Wardens, Trinity’s safe world implodes. Not the least because one of the outsiders is the most annoying and fascinating person she’s ever met. Zayne has secrets of his own that will upend her world yet again—but working together becomes imperative once demons breach the compound and Trinity’s secret comes to light. To save her family and maybe the world, she’ll have to put her trust in Zayne. But all bets are off as a supernatural war is unleashed… __________________ I haven't finished this one yet, but if you've been following me on Instagram you know I'm utterly obsessed. <3

And oh yes. That's right. I'm adding a webcomic this month. Why? BECAUSE I'M OBSESSED. If I had to rate this masterpiece on a system of stars it would break the scale. I am living for everything, for the beautiful way the artist handles trauma, and growth, and the way she weaves the stories of Greek Mythology together—centering primarily on Hades and Persephone. And the art style, the contrasting colors, ahhh. Perfection. I will be screaming about Lore Olympus for a long time to come. (Click the pic!) |

Normally I link a playlist here, but today I'm going with an Ambient Mixer. :D I've been kinda obsessed lately, and there was a Fairy Woods ambient that was perfect; except for the annoying cicadas! So I tweaked it a bit. Hope you like :D

I don't actually really know anything about Henri Purnell, Anthony Keyrouz, or Romy Wave; but I've been totally hooked on this song, "Tired". It's like a mellow dance track and I'm here for it.
Clicky the pic! It'll open the YouTube link. |

I've fallen back into my Borderlands hole lately. I'm obsessed! Again! Anticipating the third game has me dying of impatience. Since their soundtracks are literally ALWAYS on point, go check out the trailer song -- and mmph that drop at around 1:25. Perfect. ;) Clicky the pic! Another YouTube link!

I have been SO BUSY. I've failed you my writerly friends. But never fear! I do come bearing something of use! World Anvil This is one of the BEST world building tools I've seen available for writers. I haven't played with it too extensively (since the world for my trilogy is already a scattered mess of notes all over the place and that's how I need them to stay xD) But truly, they put so much into World Anvil. It's a gift. |

And last, but not least . . . 'Imber' in the wild! ____________________ |

Belle is a super kind, supportive, talented lady, and she takes these super gorgeous pictures. I can't recommend following her Bookstagram enough. Plus, she's an author on submission of her own! How amazing is that?! Go give her some love while she's facing the query trenches. <3
