Cohort 22 Graduation (New Providence)

 

On January 18th, 2024, we hosted our 22nd Cohort's Graduation Ceremony. The participants underwent 4 weeks of Soft Skills Training and 10 or more weeks of Practical Skills Training. Top Trainee received Executive Director's Award

 

Our Training programs recognize outstanding participants in each Discipline. For example, Mr. Jaheim Bootle, a graduate of the Information Technology Discipline, received the Executive Director's Award for being the top trainee overall for Cohort 22. On January 29th, 2024, Soft Skills Training commenced at the Royal Bahamas Defence Force base for the Bahamas National Youth Guard Program. City & Guilds Housekeeping Attendants, Janitorial and Custodial Staff Training Program extended to external clients

 

On March 4th, 2024, the second installment of our City & Guilds Approved Centre's Housekeeping Attendants, Janitorial and Custodial Staff Training program commenced. This program caters to employed Bahamians from the public and private sectors at a nominal cost. The participants are undergoing 4 weeks of Soft Skills Training and 8 weeks of Practical Skills Training. On March 21st, 2024, our Grand Bahama Office Manager Mr. Kenneth Miller and Administrative Assistant Ms. Darriel Higgs paid a courtesy call to the Minister for Grand Bahama, the Honourable Ginger Moxey. During the discussion as stated on Facebook by the Ministry for Grand Bahama, collaborative efforts with their Collab unit were also explored to enhance accessibility to training programs, promising avenues for skill development and economic growth throughout our region.
