12 sub-grantees of the project "CSOs for making local democracy work" for half a year have been actively implementing their projects in cooperation with the local authorities. In the first six months, more than 50 activities were conducted in 12 communities with direct participation of more than 1000 citizens, representatives of local self-governments, members of NGOs, youth and adults.

Two publications on the cooperation between municipalities and the civil sector were promoted during the international conference "European integration trough the perspective of cooperation between civil society and local authorities" organized on 6 and 7 November 2018 by the European Movement of the Republic of Macedonia and the European Association for Local Democracy- ALDA Skopje within the project "CSOs for making local democracy work" supported by the IPA Civil Society Facility and...

On 6 and 7 November, 2018 the international conference "European integration trough the perspective of cooperation between civil society and local authorities" will take place at the Great Hall of the Council of the City of Skopje.

On 31 of October, 2018, as a result of the hard and dedicated work of the Youth Council, the Municipality as well as the members of the working group, the Local Youth Strategy and the two-year action plan of the Municipality of Krushevo were adopted.

On the 1 of November, 2018 within the project "Creative Campaign to positive living practices, healthy habits and values " in the Municipality of Gradsko, the children from the Primary School Dame Gruev had the opportunity to be a part of a short training dedicated to the priorities for cycling in urban areas and the possible dangers arising from the fact that all the cyclists are becoming active participants in the traffic.

On 30th of October, 2018 at the Stone Bridge Hotel in Skopje, the Macedonian Center for International Cooperation organized a debate dedicated to re-granting, lessons learned, perspectives and challenges in the Civil Society Resource Center. The aim of the debate was to share regional and national experiences, practices and lessons learned from re-granting as a mechanism for supporting smaller civil society organizations.

On the 8th of October, 2018, the Rural Coalition within the project " The local community and the municipality jointly create the strategy for local economic development " organized the first civic forum in the municipality of Staro Nagorichane.

On 02.10.2018 in the premises of the elementary school "Kiril i Metodij" from Veles, was held the first workshop on the topic: "The Influence of Children's Games on the Psycho-Physical Development of Children" within the activities of the Veles Bajking-Veles for the project "Creative Campaign to positive living practices, healthy habits and values!"
