I am deeply fascinated by the science of Happiness. At Berkeley University there is a big team studying happiness for years. At Harvard University, Professor Arthur Brooks teaches courses on leadership, happiness, and social entrepreneurship and he explains why society is wrong to say what causes happiness.
"If you want to be happier, you need to understand the science. You need to apply it to your life first. You need to share it with others because you won't remember it and hold yourself accountable unless you're teaching it".
Investing in myself and helping my clients do the same, increases my happiness daily. Pr Brooks shares the same idea; he is 60% happier today than 5 years ago thanks to the work he does on himself and his work on happiness.
Some of his happiness tips are:
"change your mind, listen more than you talk, it's all about humanity and humility".
Happiness is the pursuit of three things; enjoyment, satisfaction, and meaning.
