Intensive Outpatient Program: TICC has been established as a private practice since 2018. We are excited to announce that this year TICC is officially a behavioral health services organization (BHSO) which has allowed us to pioneer and launch a trauma--focused intensive outpatient program (IOP) for Central Kentucky --the first of its kind! Being a BHSO allows us to offer to insured (including Medicaid) and self-pay clients an intensive treatment option for clients whose symptoms require more attention than a weekly therapy session but are not so severe as requiring inpatient hospitalization. Our desire is that this program helps to decrease barriers for accessing much needed trauma treatment programs! >>> Read More about Trauma Enlightenment IOP Kentucky Department of Education-Approved EILA Training: TICC is primarily known for our trauma-informed services but we also offer trauma-informed trainings for educators and instructional leaders in Kentucky! Last month, Dr. Lauren Downey released two EILA professional development courses that are self-paced with online and on-demand access. Interested in a $20 discount on "Coping & Calming Techniques: Students with Trauma" and "ITH Model: Identifying & Treating Trauma in the Classroom"? Use code EILASAVE at checkout to save! School-Based Services: TICC completed its first full school year providing school-based therapy services for partnering Fayette County Public Schools (8 schools and counting!). Our clinicians Tyran Price, CSW and Anessia Nutter, LPCA each spent numerous hours with Fayette County youth providing one-one-one support and teaching strategies to improve their mental health, interpersonal skills, and self-esteem. A big THANK YOU to our partnering schools, their administrative staff, mental health clinicians, and educators who helped support these youth in receiving these services! We are looking forward to the next school year already!
