Having grown up in the tight-knit Montreal community, and now in Ontario and British Columbia, Ruth Patterson, Ingrid Ruberg and Kalev Ruberg are dedicating their Viru vanemad donation in support of KESKUS in honour of their parents Naani and Raoul Merits, and Endel and Aliise Ruberg. Meet Taimi Hooper, Donations Manager for Estonian Arts Centre |

Taimi Hooper is the first point of contact for donors via phone or the donations@estoniancentre.ca email address to make donations to Estonian Arts Centre, the charity associated with KESKUS. KESKUS construction update |

Construction on the KESKUS site continues. The first of the three phases construction is mostly underground and not particularly visible. This phase will continue well into the summer and early fall, as per schedule. Read more here, eesti keeles siin. |

KESKUS neighbours, VEMU Estonian Museum Canada and Estonian Life newspaper collaborate on a new Estonian themed podcast titled EstoCast. Through discussions of books, music, art, history, science, and more, EstoCast will explore what it is to be Estonian and what Estonians have to offer the world. Interview style episodes, released bi-weekly, alternate between Estonian and English languages. The first three episodes are available here. |
