Awesome stuff coming up!
1. Rising in Brotherhood Switzerland
After 2022's very successful Rising in Brotherhood weekend, the next one will be next level; actually at 700m high.
Wild and Sacred Men has been invited to Switzerland to facilitate a men's retreat on the slopes of the Stierenberg, near the town of Reinach. My brother Michael has attended several Wild and Sacred Men events, which have given him so much, that he asked me to come over and to do the work with Swiss and German brothers.
I am pretty excited about this. I will be co-facilitating with my German brother Marcel, with whom I share a deep connection. My dear brother Michael will take care of the logistics and practicalities.
The nature here is so very very beautiful. It is a place where fairytales and sagas are almost tangible. I'm looking forward to venture into the woods here with brothers.
2. Wild Brotherhood Greece
Mia Adamidou, a sister from Greece, has attended Wild and Sacred Women events and invited both Margo (Wild and Sacred Women) and me (Wild and Sacred Men) over to Greece.
She holds her own venue in Athens, which will be a great starting point for either event.
This fall we will organise both a two-day event for women and a one-day event for men. If these turn out to be successful, we will create a follow-up event in spring 2024. This will most probably be an event following our Sacred Union formula: men and women start together, then go separate and finally rejoin in full power.
I am absolutely stoked to meet the men of Greece and to work with them as brothers!
3. Wild Men's Journey
In October 2022, I went to Ireland for a course on Project-based Learning together with a colleague. The course was... what shall I say... well below expectations. But our time together was great. Rick is my colleague's name. And during our week in the West, we formed a deep connection and quickly grew from colleagues to brothers.
Rick was enthusiastic about Wild and Sacred Men, having done his share of inner work. And we decided that we should organise something together.
One of the course's participants was a lady who lived on what was according to her, Croatia's most beautiful island, Korčula. Before moving into education, she worked in tourism.
And then everything came together! Rick and I facilitating our journey, making good use of the contact we made in Ireland.
So now, we will be facilitating a journey with a program full of men's work, supplemented with local teachers, who teach rock-climbing, yoga, sustainable cooking and the local moreska sword-dance!
This is going to be so awesome!
4. Purpose, Power and Protection
On the 11/11, 111 priestesses will gather on Ibiza to give the course of the world a spin in the right direction. All of the profits that will be made will be directed to charity. It is called Priestess Intervention, and is Margo's initiative.
During these three days, Wild and Sacred Men will also host a retreat for men. In it, we aim to find and/or express our life's purpose and our masculine power. And, as I always say: with power comes responsibility. Without wallowing in perpetration and guilt, we will face the condition this world has been less a safe place for women, because of men.
But it can change. We can be the change. While realising and feeling our awesome power, we can be protectors instead.
We'll do two days of men's work. The third day, we will meet the women and both of us will experience a day of healing between the masculine and the feminine.
