Happy December, Warriors!

Happy Holidays, Hanukkah, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Wow, what a year it has been. We are so grateful for all of you, and we thought this is a perfect time to reflect on our year at FLAW. Don't worry, our regular segment will be below!

Let's get started!

Another Incredible Year

Before the new year begins, let's revisit what we accomplished together over the past year.

It has been such an incredible year with you all at Fight Like A Warrior. We have had campaigns, ambassadors, cards for warriors, fundraisers, new programs and segments and much more. We thought this would be a great chance to look back at what we have done and accomplished together this year.

World Aids Day

"The risk is not knowing."

World Aids (HIV) Day was on December 1, and it is an opportunity to break the stigma and have real, honest conversations about AIDS.

It is also an opportunity to support those living with AIDS, and those who have died from AIDS, respectfully.

In 2022, worldaidsday.org hosted their 2022 campaign "Rock the Ribbon." Participating members wore a red ribbon and totally rocked it. Basically, they wore their red ribbon with pride and transparency, the same way they want the conversation about AIDS to be handled.

"World AIDS Day is important because it reminds the public and government that HIV has not gone away – there is still a vital need to raise money, increase awareness, fight prejudice and improve education." - Worldaidsday.org.

Let's "Rock the Ribbon", everyday!

International Day of Persons With Disabilities

International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) was on December 3. The theme of last year was “Transformative solutions for inclusive development: the role of innovation in fuelling an accessible and equitable world." IDPD is a day to reflect on what can be done to create a more supportive and inclusive environment for people with disabilities. Chronic Illness in The News

Chronic illness sufferers with conditions like diabetes 'facing needless deaths' in Ukraine

Chronic illness sufferers such as those with diabetes are being "left behind" in conflict zones such as Ukraine as aid workers warn of more "needless deaths" unless care is improved. People forced to leave their homes, or trapped inside as ruthless Russian airstrikes continue, are frequently left without access to medical care, equipment or long-term medication.
