June 2, 2024 Teaching and Learning Independent schools fight for distinction with unique programs, special educational philosophies, prestigious curricula, and those assets might bring families into your admission office, but once there, you've got to win them on teaching and learning. Seems simple, but it's possible for schools to lose sight of this elemental fact and convince themselves that an IB curriculum or a Reggio philosophy is self-evidently convincing, when in fact, both (and their like) might, at best, inspire an arms folded, "show me" response. That's when the real work starts. |
