Restoring Our Beautiful Spanish Tile Deck!

We regret to inform you that our beautiful Spanish tile deck has suffered significant damage from the winter storms and is in need of urgent replacement.

Our deck is an integral part of the private museum tour experience, offering guests a serene space to enjoy tea and biscotti while taking in the breathtaking ocean, mountain, and city views.

Today, we received the construction plan for the deck, which unfortunately will not be completed until October 1. This news is particularly shocking and tragic for us as we did not plan for this situation, having just moved to our new location in February. This setback significantly impacts our fundraising efforts for conservation. However, we trust our Santa Barbara contractors and zoning authorities that October 1 is the correct and final completion date.

While we work through these repairs, we want to assure you that our couture sewing classes and masterclasses will continue as scheduled. We remain dedicated to offering enriching educational opportunities, even as we restore our outdoor space.

We kindly ask for your support during this time. Your contributions will help us expedite the replacement of the deck and ensure that our guests can once again enjoy the full beauty and tranquility of our museum. Please consider including us in your donations and planning.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Join Us in Bringing a Historic Couture Speaker and Event to Santa Barbara!

We are thrilled to announce an extraordinary opportunity for Santa Barbara and the Couture Pattern Museum. We are designing a historic talk and book signing event with a distinguished author who has written a book about a key figure in the fashion industry.

We are reaching out to you, our valued supporters, to help make this event a reality. If you have an interest in naming rights or sponsorship, we would love to connect.

Your contributions can be made in several ways:

  • Direct Sponsorship: Consider making a financial donation to sponsor the event. (Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law).

  • In-Kind Contributions: If you know of a hotel owner or an Airbnb host who could offer accommodation, please let us know!

  • Creative Support: Any other assistance or creative help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

  • Any donation amount helps us significantly.

This event will be a unique experience that will bring our community to the attention of an international audience.

We believe this event will gather the fashion community across the state, and from other states and beyond. Your funds also help to stimulate the local tourism economy, contribute to education, and provide opportunities to disadvantaged students and community members.

Your generosity and support will be vital to making this event come true. Please help us spread the word that we seek financial help to bring this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to our community.

Together, we can make Santa Barbara a hub for cultural and fashion excellence.

If you missed the press release, read about Couture Pattern Museum's exhibition that occurred on June 6 - it was truly a triumphant exhibit for our Santa Barbara community - KTLA.
