Ok! YouTube, You win. And, I get it. I know it feels good to find what feels good. So, I get it. And, what's not to like about those lovely yoga teachers, right?. They have a winning smile and a convincing theme that seems just right for you. Their class has an uninterrupted flow with a mix of forward folds, back bends, twists and even meditation. There is oodles of positive affirmation and some sweet-sounding, anglicized Sanskrit too. |

They are just the most polite yoga teachers you'll ever see. Even when your legs are in a knot in lotus pose or when your back is rounded in standing half forward bend or when your knees are over extended in warrior I or when your knees are knocking in chair pose, they just don't want to be rude or make you feel uncomfortable. So, they keep going with a gentle face and a strong ujjayi breath. I know it feels good to find what feels good and I get it. But, if you'd like to try a yoga teacher who doesn't mind interrupting or being interrupted, to make sure that you get the real deal, then more power to you! |
