Another week, alas another change to how we can operate... Today the council advised us that we can only accept pre-orders during the lockdown period (or face a hefty fine) which is tricky when operating a mobile zero waste shop, but hopefully we've come up with a reasonable interim solution which isn't too complicated - for you or us....Deep breath....
Here is the plan:
The TOPUP TRUCK will come to arranged bookings as usual but under new guidance, customers can only collect and pay for a pre-order at the float. It is therefore necessary that you, and anyone else on your booking, complete this form by 6pm the day before to tell us what you would like. You will need to look at our product list beforehand.
- Dry goods will be pre-packed into compostable paper bags.
- Liquids will go into your own containers and we can only go by the volume that you have given us in your pre-order, so please enter your volumes accurately and bring the correct containers with you - we recommend having them in front of you when filling in the form.
- 2m social distancing must be adhered to and it is imperative that you wear a mask!
- If you would prefer for the goods to be delivered to your doorstep (as per last week's email), then please let us know your door number on the pre-order form.
We will stick to our usual days:
E5 - Friday (pre-order cutoff 6pm Thursday)
E8/N16 - Saturday (pre-order cutoff 6pm Friday)
E9 - Sunday (pre-order cutoff 6pm Saturday)
We appreciate that this is a major faff, but your co-operation will allow us to survive the lockdown period without going out of business or being shut down.

PS - we are aware that some of the questions in the pre-order form may feel repetitious if you have already filled out the booking form, but I'm afraid this form is the only way we can operate at the moment so we thank you for your time and patience with all of these confusing changes!!
