Newsflash: Ted Takes on Tinsel Town "Could well be a historic moment. Last month, film producer Jon Adler of Adler Films (with me above) and I signed legal papers creating our new production company: El Dorado Entertainment! And, one month later, we have serious, major Hollywood interest in Hawke as the next James Bond. Full length feature franchise or episodic TV show. Also, British interest in my new film noir Private Eye series set in Miami. A 21st century Travis McGee! I'll keep all you Hawke fans up to speed on developments as we move forward in Our Adventures in Tinsel Town!" |

Aston, Aston Martin RM Sotheby's: Monterey will hold a classic car auction August 15-17. In addition to Maseratis, Porsches and Ferraris is James Bond's silver two-seater 1965 Aston Martin DB. This car was never seen in the Bond films but matches the ones used in Goldfinger and Thunderball and was used to promote Thunderball. The car still has its battering rams, revolving license plates, retractable bulletproof screen, machines guns and oh, yes, that infamous passenger side ejector seat. It's estimated to fetch a cool $4 to $6 million. This car is "a pristine example" of "the most famous car in the world," according to Sotheby's. Hawke already has a bid on the table! | | |
