How Your Pet Shelter Donations Can Help Pets In Need

Most dog rescues operate using donations from the community. Often, the number of resources the dog rescues have don’t even come close to the amount of need they face. Though many elements figure into the existence of dog rescues, it is often irresponsible owners that cause the majority of the need for dog rescues. So if you’re a pet owner, the best place to start helping animal shelters is right in your own home. More responsible pet owners means fewer shelter pets!

Unfortunately, while pet shelter donations are something that many people think about, they rarely seem to make them. 

Whether you donate your time or items that can either be used, sold or auctioned, you can make a huge difference in the lives of many pets in just a few simple steps. Saint Bernard Rescue Group is always excited to receive donations in any way, shape or form. However, when you give money, you can write off the tax-deductible donation, and Saint Bernard Rescue Group can put this money to use where it is most needed! 

Last year Saint Bernard Rescue Group save at least 2 Saint Bernards a month that needed veterinary care, transportation, food and shelter expenses. This year we have a enormous goal to raise $100,000  to support the foundation’s mission and provide medical care, food and shelter to 10  dogs a month this year. 

Our mission is to take care of unwanted dogs giving them medical care, food and shelter. When ready for placement find a forever home for each dog.
