super-sale and a new book

This is a huge week for me. Tequila Midnight, my first novel and the first in the Jessica Watts Southwest Suspense Series, is available for free this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (August 9, 10, and 11 - ebook only). The novel was selected for a "BookBub Featured Deal, " meaning it will be marketed to over 2.5 million people in the US, Canada, Australia, and the UK.

Because of this, I've moved up the publication date of the second-in-series, El Diablo, to this Thursday, August 8! It's still available for preorder before then. I've got my fingers crossed hoping everything goes well.

Looking for your next books? Here are the summaries for these two:

TEQUILA MIDNIGHT

Jessica Watts has gotten less picky about the booze she’ll drink and the jobs she’ll take. When she’s asked to find the missing heiress of a shady Mexican business mogul, the quest hits close to home for someone who hasn’t seen her parents in years.

As she unravels a complex web of suspense and secrets, it’s impossible to tell who to trust: those who want to find the woman or those who want to keep her hidden. When a clue leads her to Central America, Jessica thinks she’s found the answer, and maybe the missing woman, until a surprising twist takes the search in a new direction and forces her to confront her own haunted past.

EL DIABLO

Jessica had put her reckless past behind her—or at least she thought so—until a teen’s confession about her youth pastor’s disturbing behavior reawakens her thirst for danger and justice. The deeper the disillusioned amateur sleuth is drawn into this shadowy world, the more her own demons claw their way to the surface.

Trapped in a twisted psychopath’s brutal game of cat-and-mouse, Jessica chases her vindictive nemesis through the unforgiving desert. Forced to confront her darkest instincts and with young lives at stake, can she embrace her ruthless edge to defeat a monster before it devours her?
