This is not a Thirst Trap |
Hey there. How d'you like that little ghostie dude right above, huh? Very Spencer-esque, and he was just chillin' at an antique store in Denham Springs, close to where I grew up. Welcome to yet another newsletter! It's been two weeks since the last one (they're usually weekly) so we've got a lot of catching up to do! Honestly today's newsletter is going to be more of an art-dump with an announcement or two. Not a lot of exposé this time around. I'll leave my artistic ramblings to another day and another time. So, with that said, let's get to the art! First up-new comics! |

I know it's the setting that they're in, and that they're at a lake, during the summer, but geez I wasn't thinking that the first real introduction to Spencer (and Arlo) when he was alive he'd be half naked most of the time. Feels like one heck of a thirst trap. Sorry to put you up to this Spencer! |

The Art Prompts from the Week |
In spite of getting off the wagon for a week or so there, I have some art-prompt drawings I did before my trip out of town. And after returning I've been able to carve out time for a few more. So, here's an art-dump of October Art-Prompt illustrations from the week. Some of these have already made it to social media, some are yet to be seen! |

A couple of announcements I wanted to tell you guys about: I've recently updated my Etsy shop with a few new prints. They're mostly prints from the illustrations I made during Summerween this year. So, if you enjoyed some of those illustrations, they're now available! The After Death Book Two books came in this past week! They look so good and I'm super pumped to finally have physical copies! For the next couple weeks or so, I'll be shipping out everyone's book, but if you missed out on the Kickstarter, I'll have Book Two up in my shop after Kickstarter backers get theirs first! Also, if anyone is interested in any of the original art I'm making for the month of October-drop me a line! I make a lot of art which means it usually gets posted online, and then goes into a file folder/portfolio file never to be seen again! I'd love to get it to someone who'll hang it up, frame it, pin it to a wall, put it on a fridge-whatever! Priced to move-or make me an offer! Just shoot me an email or message me online.

What's Making Me Happy This Week? |
Inverse's Superhero issue is out, and it's been "Guest Edited" by Zack Snyder-the "Snyder-Cut" Snyder. The my-superhero-movies-aren't-fun-or-funny Zack Snyder. Yep, him. And as much as I make quips about how Snyder's movies have too much slow motion and not enough jokes, it's a really good issue that dives into taboo topics such as "Can Superheroes Kill?" and the kinky origins of Wonder Woman. It was a great read, and you can check it out here.
