Why now?
We’re launching this monthly partnership campaign because the time is right.
- This year is El Pozo de Vida’s 10th anniversary! (and we want 10+ more years)
- The COVID-19 pandemic has increased the power imbalances that lead to the abuse of vulnerable people
- There are 27 million+ people enslaved right now, MORE than at
any time in history
As a non-profit, El Pozo is growing rapidly. The face of modern-day slavery is also changing. In order to meet the unique challenges of an evolving problem, we need a firm base of monthly partners, dedicated to recurring donations that provide stability in uncertain times.
We're looking to add 200 recurring donors and $6,000 of steady funding per month. Just for some context, El Pozo's budget for ALL 10 projects is approximately $50,000 USD per month. During the next 10 days, we will be bringing you a sneak peak into all the projects and more!budget
