The Friends’ tour program offers tremendous opportunities for visitors to learn from experienced guides about a variety of topics including history, nature, engineered wetlands, plants and even ghosts! A potpourri of information about Fish Creek Provincial Park touching on the plants and animals that live in the park, the many ways humans have left their mark over the years, and the ways that Alberta Parks and the Friends of Fish Creek Provincial Park Society are working to conserve and protect Canada's largest urban provincial park. | | |

Riparian Health Assessment and Plant ID Workshop Cows and Fish June 12th, 2022 1:00PM- 5:00PM Location: TBD Join Cows and Fish staff for an afternoon in the field to improve your understanding of riparian ecology and management. This session is open to the public and all levels of experience/skill are welcome! Helpful items to bring include a clipboard, pencil, notebook, hat and sunscreen, bug spray, rain gear, and any plant ID guides you may have. A bagged lunch will be provided prior to the start of the session. Please bring your own snacks and enough water for the day. Being in a field setting, there will be portable washrooms available for use. | | |
