Project Snow Wolf Update This month I sent Project to Snow Wolf to some alpha readers! Eeeeek! They're supposed to get it back to me by September 1st, and then I will go over their feedback and begin revising it. This aesthetic shows how I imagine the sisters in the story to look. If you want to know more about them, check out my Instagram post I did for Day 1 of the #AboutMyWIP challenge hosted by Author Bethany Atazadeh. To go to it, just click the button below. |

Depending on how long it takes me to revise and edit it, I may start to share Project Snow Wolf with you in October or November! Aaahhh! Who's excited? First, I have a question for you all. I plan to share the chapters of Project Snow Wolf with you by having a link here in my newsletter to a PDF or a page on my website. This way, I don’t have to put the chapter in the newsletter and make it super long. So I’m debating about how many chapters to share at a time. At first, I was thinking of one chapter in each newsletter, but then I thought with four weeks between each newsletter, you might not remember what happened in the previous chapter. So my question to you is... How many chapters should I share at a time with you? To answer, please click on the button below. |

Project Mystery Update Meet my “Scooby Gang”! Izzie (top left), Rina (top right), Cooper (bottom left), and Jackson (bottom right). Izzie is the MC and POV character. This month I finished outlining and making scene cards for this project. In September, I plan to fast draft it! I also plan to do something my friend Alli Earnest does when she drafts. Write 20k. Edit those 20k words. Write the next 20k. Edit that section. Repeat until the project is completely written. I hope this will help me have a more polished draft when I'm done. |

Thanks, Alli, for talking about this method during your writing sprints! If you haven't joined her Tuesday and Thursday morning writing sprints on Youtube, you should join us! I also want to give a shout out to my wonderful friends Bridie Blake and Katie Wilson for the awesome brainstorming session we did this month. THANK YOU so much, ladies! You’re both amazing! For more info on all of my projects, check out my books page. |

In August, I read some good mystery/thrillers and a few fantasies. I love the Cursebreaker series by Brigid Kemmerer. I can’t wait to read the third book A Vow so Bold and Deadly when it comes out in January 2021. This month for the Diverse is Lit book club. I also read Tristan Strong Punches a Hole in the Sky. I can’t wait for next month’s pick (You Should See Me in a Crown). It’s high on my TBR, so I was excited to see it chosen for September. Grab a copy of it and join the book club in September! To see all of my reads, follow me on Goodreads.
