Program Highlight: For My Kidz |
For My Kidz is a non-profit that has helped thousands of at-risk youth in Baltimore reach their potential in the classroom and beyond. We have partnered with this wonderful organization from our pilot programs to present day! It has been a pleasure watching this group of students grow through years of programming, and we're delighted to be back for a third year. In this photo, both new and familiar faces are making seed medallions. 🌾 |

A Look Inside: Our First Unit |
Get your hands dirty and your green thumbs ready! In Seedling's opening unit (Growing Plants), students discover the magic of plants, learn how to care for them, and may even find a few friendly garden critters along the way. Sessions focus on topics like the structure of seeds, soil, and plant anatomy, while activities can range from building edible models of dirt layers to taking apart real plants and breaking down fall leaves.🪴 |
Seedling promotes educational equity in food and STEM literacy through tailored youth programming, sustainable hydroponics products, and widespread initiatives tackling food insecurity, sustainability, and healthy living. 🌱 Interested in learning more, partnering, or joining our cause?
