Ephesians 1:16-23

We thank God for you and WYN staff bring you before our Father in prayer. We thank you & God for the opportunity to be present and serve our community.

At the beginning of the school year WYN staff had discussions in our afterschool program about our relationship with Christ and how we can talk to Him. Following those discussions some of our children asked about prayer and if they could pray at the Altar, since then children have been coming in to pray whenever WYN staff are in the church. How precious it is to see children desiring to talk to God.

This Fall the word was out and the community on the buzz! We felt the thrill of Club Champ after school program everywhere! This year almost all the 30 children in our program are new as most prior children have aged out, however many older teens are still involved with WYN as junior summer leaders. Everyone’s excited and thankful for different reasons. Parents are thankful for a safe GOD-loving environment and our kids are thankful for the fun they’re having with friends and to be in a safe loving environment. WYN staff are excited and thankful to see new children learn how to pray, worship, and serve, as Jesus instructed us to do in Matthew 28:19-20.

This Fall we were equally delighted to have hosted students from John Brown University. They served alongside us, harvesting vegetables in our community garden, joining us in round table discussions, and team building during our after school Club Champ!
