The third Transnational Access call: StoRIES launched the third Transnational Access (TNA) call for research and innovation projects under the call topic “Solutions for hybrid energy storage systems”. The topic addresses a multitude of different energy storage technologies and their combinations for enabling long duration energy storage, from several hours to months, which is explicitly open to all technology readiness levels (TRLs). The second StoRIES International Researcher Exchange Programme (IREP) call: The second StoRIES IREP call with the topic “Technologies for improving Hybrid Energy Storage Applications including research to Accelerate Materials Discovery for energy storage materials” was opened. The IREP offers researchers from countries participating in Horizon 2020, free of charge access to world-leading international research infrastructures or devices. StoRIES coordinator appointed professor at Sapienza University of Rome (IT): Stefano Passerini, the coordinator of StoRIES, has taken up a new position as professor at the Faculty of Chemistry of the Sapienza University in Rome. Congratulations! He remains the coordinator of StoRIES project and a Distinguished Senior Fellow at the Helmholtz Institute Ulm of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
