Life is an adventure and in Baja there are a multitude of ways to experience and enjoy this beautiful land and sea, as well as, share this place with your loved ones.

Friends, aside from our monthly schedule, I would love to take a moment and acknowledge that it has been a little over a year since reopening the studio after opting to teach outdoors during the height of the pandemic. A year of rebuilding a full class schedule, restocking prop shelves, resetting, regathering and growing together. Over a year full of gratitude to be at home again in this good space, Sukhasana Studio.
I am grateful for the opportunity to be here, to be of service in a diverse and dynamic bilingual and bicultural community in a beautiful destination. I am grateful for our amazing and inspiring instructors who uplift and hold space for our students in a safe space for learning and growing together. I am grateful for our students who share your trust and presence in this good space.
And, I'd like to share a little history about the name of our studio chosen upon opening its doors in February of 2009:
Sukha in Sanskrit means "Good Space"
Sukhasana is a play on words:
Sukhasa sounds like "Su Casa" = Your Home
Sukhasana is the classic Easy Pose or Easy Seat
We hope you will feel at home and at ease in your heart, body, mind and soul when you join us for class at Sukhasana Studio. And, may this feeling of at homeness be with you wherever you are in the building, town, country, worldwide.
In the words of Ram Dass:
“We’re all just walking each other home.”
May all beings everywhere be happy and free and may the thoughts, words and actions of our own lives contribute to that happiness and freedom for all.
