Successful Bay Area Youth Climate Summit Recap |

Last Saturday (9/24), our 3rd Annual Summit was held at the World Affairs building in San Francisco bringing together presenters from diverse fields of study and over 70 youth for a fun day of climate activism and learning. The summit included educational workshops, community-building activites, letter writing, phone banking, mural, and button making. For those of you that were able to attend, thank you so much and we hope you had a great time! We were so happy to see returning faces as well as new ones—and can't wait to see you again next year. Within the next week, we will release some photos, video footage, and more updates to celebrate, so keep updated on our Instagram and website for these! |

The Summit included a variety of lunch activities, one of the more popular ones was the mural creation. Students of varying ages, high schools, and backgrounds came together to celebrate their interests and passions for environmental justice and activism in our Bay Area and global community. The mural served as a great creative outlet to connect through, as attendees collaborated and had fun together! |

There’s an opportunity for you to be a part of the Youth Crew which gets approximately 120 hours of community service and training in animal care.
