All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn’t hurt.

Happy end of February! My aim with my introduction each month is to keep it pithy and interesting and use some element of a month's character to say something interesting. To be honest, for February, I find it tough to do that and be authentic (don't get me started on Valentine's Day). Suffice to say that February isn't my favorite month and I don't find it inspirational in any way. This is not the first draft of this intro and the others were decidedly more grumpy/honest/authentic.
Generally, this makes it a good month to get down to work and give my indoor plants some love (more on that below)! Here's my round-up for this month of marketing tips and musings and here's to a more inspiring March (the official start of Spring)!

How to use keywords in blogs
I was recently asked, "How do I determine which keywords to use?", so I wanted to write a blog about that. Copywriting for the internet is a delicate balance between getting your point across, writing well for people, and being found by search engines. Here are my top tips.

Case studies are marketing gold. If you're not already including case studies as part of your content marketing strategy, you're missing a trick. Everyone can write case studies about how their business helps clients or customers. Here's how.
Not all of us are videographers and when we need a quick video to tell a story, platforms like promo.com can come in handy. It gives template videos, and audio and is intuitive to edit - even without video editing experience. Biteable is another platform that offers the same.
February has been a chilly month. At the moment my yard is either brown or white so I've been enjoying my inside garden. This is one of my pandemic hobbies. I started with a solitary spider plant but now I'm having fun with a variety of plants. My aloe is one of my favorites and I'm learning a whole new lingo, like "pups" and the different kinds of potting mix there are. So far so good in keeping them alive! If you are local and want to do a plant swap, let me know!
