July is here and summer is in full effect. It has been insanely hot here in middle Tennessee, between the humidity and the mosquitoes... I'm done with summer. The one good thing about this time of year is our goat kids are weaned and we are getting plenty of amazing goat milk! We will be making soap today and fingers crossed this recipe will be the winner and we can start selling it! I know there are several of y'all who are excited for some Goats Milk Soap!
We have been making a lot of Goat Milk Lotion lately and this week I decided to finally add our moisturizing Goat Milk Lip Balm to our shop! After several months of testing and ensuring this product was ready to sell... we finally have it! We are launching this product with our Vanilla Mint Goat Milk Lip Balm! I am obsessed with this lip balm and all my product testers have raved about it! Be sure to check it out and snag a jar of our luxurious Goat Milk Lotion too!
In farm news, July brings the departure of several of our goat kids and our sweet Amelia. Y'all know she is our favorite and we wanted so bad to keep her, but we don't have a buck to breed her to and it just wouldn't be fair to her to keep her here. We posted her, along with a few other goats and she was snagged almost immediately. No surprise there! We couldn't be more excited about her new home. She will be going to Echo Run Farms and I am confident she is going to have a great life on their farm. I will absolutely be an emotional mess when she leaves this week, but I know she will be going to the best home!
July is also TRANSFER MONTH or at least that is what I have decided to call it. We are just 15 days away from our FET (Frozen Embryo Transfer) and then we have our TWW (Two Week Wait) to find out if our embaby boy successfully implanted or if we will face another loss. So basically July will be all about our embaby boy. I have had so many emotional ups and downs as we get closer to his transfer but God is so faithful and gracious to me. He answered my prayers loud and clear. He saw my fear and met me with love and peace. All I can say is the God is good.
We trust Him with our family and our farm.
