Believe it or not, getting out of my comfort zone isn’t something I have always found easy over the years. Becoming more visible in my business was a big hurdle and the creation of my own little space on the internet was a significant step.
To then be recognised nationally with awards, appearances on BBC Radio and regularly contributing to trade publications is more than I could have ever imagined happening.
The good old pandemic then made online video meetings the new norm and my confidence to reveal the face behind the voice has grown accordingly.
So much so that when I ended up in a Mauritian hospital bed in June, I felt obliged to let clients know the importance of travel insurance without even thinking about the fact that I had no make-up on (granted, I was on a lot of pain relief).
And now I am delighted to share a little video that I have been working on that hopefully provides a taster as to what makes your trusty travel agent tick - I hope you like it.
None of this would be possible without the incredible support of my fantastic clients, my nearest and dearest, along with trusted colleagues and associates. You all rock.
As do Travel Counsellors, who have welcomed me with open arms and helped to provide a smooth transition and valuable enhancements to my service. Oh, and an appreciated achievement educational trip to Mexico last month (pictured above).
Happy Halloween and autumn travels.
