REMEMBERING BRAMWELL TOVEY

1953 - 2022

Actors Alan Cumming and Paul Anthony and director Richard Bell enjoy a visit from Bramwell to the set, summer 2004.

Brotherhood was the second professional collaboration between Bramwell Tovey and director Richard Bell, the first being Eighteen, which also starred Brendan Fletcher. Bramwell composed the score and conducted the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra.

Bramwell Tovey died of sarcoma last week. He was impressed by the sophisticated and compassionate care he received at the cancer agency at Vancouver General Hospital. Should you wish to make a donation in his memory, we will mail you a DVD of Eighteen as thanks.
