Welcome to the latest Nordic House newsletter! We are excited to share with you what we are up to. I'm happy to announce we are re-starting the "Nordic Fridays" at the Range market in Constantia, starting from Friday the 25th of February. Just drop in from 4.30pm onwards - find the table with the most people saying "Skål", and join us.

Would you work remotely from Cape Town, the leading digital and innovation hub in Africa? Cape Town is a beautiful city filled with opportunities to explore the mountains, beaches, wine routes, restaurant scene and the diverse cultures, but it also is a wonderful place to work remotely. There is a great buzz created by startups, entrepreneurs, creatives, and a nice mix of local and international crowd. A tourist visa allows for a 90 day stay but can be extended for a further 90 days by applying at the VFS offices. Next Nordic House event - an afternoon of Nordic design with BoConcept Our Nordic House member Charlotte Obidairo is welcoming the members of the network to an official opening of the BoConcept store in Cape Town. This exclusive event will be held in early March and it promises to be a fabulous, inspiring afternoon of Nordic design and style. Members, keep an eye out for an invitation! |

Nordic House event at De Toren Private Cellar in January A warm thank you to Wauko Cashflow Solutions, De Toren Private Cellar and the participating Nordic House members for a wonderful afternoon in Stellenbosch! Wauko’s Pieter Le Roux and David Irish presented their offering of next-level cash flow management solutions for optimising the client's cash flow, using state-of-the-art tools. A discussion of Nordic House member’s banking experiences and frustrations followed, and Pieter and David were ready with suggestions, and keen to assist. We then heard the story of De Toren wines, presented by their ex-winemaker, now Managing Partner Albie Koch. Their slogan "experiencing exceptional” truly came together through enjoying their world class Bordeaux style reds, listening to Albie telling their story, all coupled with the stunning beauty of the farm. |
