The 2024 Schedule is here |
Have you ever heard about some great, new thing just when you got something else? Lately, it must have happened a lot. We're not even half way into our season and we've already gotten so many requests for NEXT YEAR'S schedule! |
Word has been getting out about the special way we do things. It seems some folks booked a vacation doing something else, then heard about us and clamored for a schedule to make they get a spot for next year. Marc Evan Jackson is one of our owners. He has been telling his fans and friends about the fun he's been having on his frequent trips. Did you know he's a sailor from way back? We've also been welcoming repeat guests - and the friends they bring with them - AND - we have a 40% discount for Maine residents this year. Too often it's the folks with something great in their backyard that don't know much about it. We want them to know. We want them to tell their friends. Well, it's working. |

Before it's too late, make your plans for next year now.

More to come this year too |
Remember, we're not even halfway through the season. And. Marc has added more trips. He has already sailed a bunch, but he's coming back for more. Be like Marc. |
He will be aboard August 20th to the 24th (His birthday is the 21st!) and for the Camden Windjammer Festival, August 29 to September 2nd. He's great fun. Did you know that he plays piano and guitar, and loves to jam with guests and crew? He's also an expert rock skipper, |

We still have a few spots available. We're entering the heart of Maine's summer. Don't miss it.

Speaking of cool people, meet the crew. They all wrote their own bios. You'll enjoy "meeting" them before you actually meet them.

Second Place and Set a Record |
The annual Great Schooner Race was a few weeks ago. We came in 2nd! Sailing among a group of schooners is a wonderful experience; so much history and grand charm all around us. If that sounds like a good time, and it is, the Eggomoggin Reach Regatta is coming up. It started in 1985 with thirteen participants. Now, it's often over a hundred sailboats! Click here to learn more and book a spot aboard. |

As for the record, it was eight. The category was - Most people to jump off the boat at the same time for a summer splashdown swim. The water can be / is chilly. That's OK, we have a hot shower aboard. A cold plunge makes the hot shower feel that much better. |

With the waves of new followers and newsletter subscribers we've been getting, we thought we'd share a bit about what our trips are about. |
Every trip has an island lobster bake. Which island? Don't know. That's one of the charms of our trips, we only follow the wind. The way the wind best moves us, that is where we'll go. And it goes to some wonderful places. We often go ashore to quant villages, little harbor towns - and sometimes - to nothing at all. Maine's coast is dotted with uninhabited islands. Many open to the public. |
The glow and quietude of an island trail is an affecting experience. You won't see the passing islands the same way; they can look imposing, with their often rocky cliffs and looming pine trees. Walk into the heart of these islands and it can be a hushed and glowing oasis. |

This picture is from an island we'd never been to before. It was very Lord of the Rings, very "shire-ey." Maine has so much to explore. We hope you can join us and enjoy a vacation that you will remember for the rest of your life. |
