"When are things going to slow down?" I get this very often and naturally it does seem overdue for us to reach our peak, but several factors have continued to push things back and keep us in our gridlock. The Central Oregon market has stayed extremely strong through Winter and doesn't show much indication of slowing down for 2022. Home prices took a small dip last month, but trends show that they will continue to rise again, primarily still due to our lack of inventory. Supply shortages and hold ups with COVID have also delayed builders of new developments, further hurting our supply of new homes. I see several over priced properties sitting on market while Sellers swing for the fences, but also well priced properties getting an offer in their first day on market (missed out on 2 today!). There is still huge interest in Bend and people are moving from all over to live here. I foresee 2022 being another year of solid appreciation and a strong Seller's market for those looking to make a move! Let me know if I can lend a hand or offer advice.   -Greg
