Jenny and Kim spent some time setting up our new clinic space at The Village, Ilam road (just down from Jelly Park) We have hired this great space a couple of days a week. We had a little trouble with setting up the tray table with lots of laughter and managed to fit most of the instruments in the cupboard. Yay! |

Adapting to Telehealth During Lockdown |
| | Telehealth sessions were a definite positive from lockdown and online. Many of our clients continued with therapy online this year. We are so proud of how well everyone managed this year. This is Megan taking an awesome telehealth session, enabling connection even through a screen! We take groups and individuals. Megan is also able to work with people outside of the Canterbury region this way. "we have been so suprised at how well it works, it's like she is in the room with us" Principal of special school. | | |
| | We also decided this lockdown to jump onto other therapy sessions as guest artists so clients could get to meet more of our therapists (with their permission, of course!). This was extra special. At the Cantabrainers Choir we invited special guests to join us. The above photo is of the lovely Ali Harper joining us for a session. There are positives to online. One client said "it's great as i get to see all the group members faces and not just the conductor, i feel like i'm getting to know people better". | | |
