From June 14th to 16th, US Zen and IBAA conducted the International Tipitaka Ceremony, where monastic members and lay people of different cultural lineages from all three yanas were invited to chant in each's own style, listen to lectures, and share the merits of this auspicious event. 六月十四日至十六日，美國禪學院與美國國際佛教協會舉辦了國際三乘誦經祈福大法會，於此法會，來自不同文化背景的三乘僧團 (巴利佛教、大乘佛教、金剛乘佛教) 與信徒一起在禪堂唸誦佛典、聆聽開示、並一同分享這殊勝的功德。 Photo Credit: Tina Lin |

Supporting US Zen || 護持美國禪學院 |

US Zen is currently in the final phase of obtaining the building permit for the new meditation center. We have submitted the blueprint and expect to receive its approval in this coming autumn and break ground shortly after. If all go smoothly, we expect to finish the construction by 2020 autumn. To ensure this project proceeds smoothly, we need all the support we can get. We invite you to be an active partner of this growth and mark your enduring legacy on these endeavors. 禪修中心籌辦計畫日前因消防法規而延誤了好幾個月，目前藍圖已送件審核，可望於今年秋季取得建築執照並破土動工。 若有諸位的解囊相助，此禪修中心可望在 2020年秋天竣工。詳細捐款手續敬請查看附上信件。我們殷盼諸位共襄弘法利眾之盛舉，攘臂捐輸，除了如佛經中所說佈施興建寺院是在家居士能夠累積的最上福德之外，相信此禪修中心未來能使更多人能在佛法中獲益。 |

6/14, Tipitaka Ceremony began by three-round circumambulation around US Zen, with a procession line of the Buddha statue, sacred sutta, monastic members, and lay followers. 祈福法會由禮繞寺院三匝開始，隊伍順序為佛像、聖典、僧人、及在家信眾。 |

Lighting the lamp by His Excellency Mr. Aung Lynn, Ambassador Extraordinary of Myanmar, who is highly supportive of IBAA and regional Buddhist events. July 1st - 7th, US Zen Youth Summer Camp and Vipassana Retreat were conducted concurrently in Catoctin Mountain National Park.
